The Hamilton Cams 1.45" DLC Coated Steel Tappets are engineered to handle high-RPM applications and heavy valve springs, providing enhanced durability for 1989-2018 Cummins 5.9L and 6.7L engines. These tappets feature a wider surface area to improve load distribution and reduce wear, even with modern low-zinc oils. They are optimized for Cummins 12-valve, 24-valve, and 4BT engines and are suitable for applications exceeding 5,000 RPM. The DLC coating reduces friction and enhances longevity under extreme conditions.
