Overview

The VRSF 3.5" downpipe is a direct bolt-on upgrade for N55-powered BMW X3 (F25) and X4 (F26) models. By removing the restrictive factory catalytic converter, this downpipe reduces back pressure for faster turbo spool, increased power, and a more aggressive exhaust note. It is constructed from hand-crafted, TIG-welded SS304 grade stainless steel with smooth radius bends to improve flow.

The downpipe is available in a race version or with a 200-cell high-flow catalytic converter.

The VRSF 3.5" Stainless Steel Downpipe is engineered to be a direct bolt-on performance upgrade for your 2011-2017 BMW X3 xDrive35i (F25) and 2014-2018 BMW X4 xDrive35i (F26) equipped with the N55 engine and Pneumatic Wastegate (PWG). Constructed from hand-crafted, TIG-welded SS304 grade stainless steel, this downpipe features a full 3.5" diameter with smooth radius bends. By eliminating the restrictive factory catalytic converter, it significantly reduces exhaust back pressure, leading to faster turbo spool, a noticeable increase in horsepower and torque, and a more aggressive exhaust note. An optional high-flow 200-cell catalytic converter is available for those seeking a balance between performance and emissions control. It is compatible with the stock cat-back exhaust system as well as most aftermarket options. VRSF offers a lifetime warranty on the downpipe itself, a two-year warranty on the catted version, and a one-year warranty on the optional ceramic coating. It is important to note that this downpipe is specifically designed for PWG (Pneumatic Wastegate) cars with a 3.5" downpipe outlet. Please verify your vehicle's wastegate type if you are unsure.
