Overview

The MetalCloak 3.5" True Dual Rate Lift Kit is a base suspension system designed to provide added clearance for larger tires and improved ride quality for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and JKU models. This entry-level kit includes True Dual Rate coils, Duroflex joints enhanced with DuPont Kevlar fiber, and Durotrak-equipped track bars for durability and vibration dampening.

The system also features height-adjustable front and rear bump stops, allowing for travel customization based on tire size. Components are manufactured from laser-cut 3/16" steel and CNC-bent for precise fitment.

The MetalCloak 3.5" True Dual Rate Lift Kit provides a 3.5-inch suspension lift for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and JKU models, offering a foundation that can be expanded with additional components for more demanding off-road use. Installation requires specific considerations based on vehicle configuration. For 2012-2018 JK Wranglers, exhaust spacers or an aftermarket front driveshaft are required to address front driveshaft clearance; note that exhaust spacers may interfere with some aftermarket skid plates. Suspension alignment by a specialist is recommended following the 6-8 hour installation process. Additionally, the selection of sway bar end links depends on whether the vehicle is a Rubicon edition, as standard quick disconnects are not compatible with Rubicon electronic sway bars. Constructed from laser-cut 3/16" steel with a Gold Zinc Chromate finish, the kit includes a 4130 solid chromoly front track bar with patented Durotrak bushings. The adjustable bump stop system allows for 1-4 inches of travel adjustment without coil removal. This is a complete base system and individual components cannot be customized or removed from the package. Please note that MetalCloak does not recommend powder coating the True Dual Rate coils.
