The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1766A is a fully remanufactured axle assembly built to exacting standards for Dana 80 differentials. This unit is designed for 1994-1999 Dodge Ram 2500 trucks featuring a 3.54 gear ratio and a Posi Limited Slip Differential. The assembly is specifically configured for models with staggered shock absorbers. During the remanufacturing process, each axle assembly undergoes rigorous inspection for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including the ring and pinion gears, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are thoroughly inspected and tested. To ensure optimal performance and longevity, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced with new parts. Gears are inspected for correct tooth contact patterns and rolling torque is precisely set using inch-pound measurements. Gear backlash is carefully adjusted for proper lubrication and quiet operation.
