3.55 Gear Ratio Axle Assembly

The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1758A is a remanufactured axle assembly specifically designed for the Chrysler 9.25-inch differential found in 1994-1999 Dodge D1500 4x4 trucks equipped with staggered shocks. This assembly boasts a 3.55 gear ratio and is rebuilt to meet stringent quality standards for precision and reliability. Every Zumbrota axle assembly undergoes a comprehensive inspection process. This includes checking for straightness, cracks, and surface wear on all components. Internally, ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers are thoroughly inspected and tested. To ensure longevity and optimal performance, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. The gears are meticulously inspected for proper tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque, with precise setup and longevity in mind. Furthermore, the axle tubes are inspected and straightened to meet OEM specifications, and the housings are tested for surface wear and cracks.
