The Flashark Catback Exhaust is engineered as a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory exhaust system on 2003-2009 Nissan 350Z models equipped with the 3.5L V6 engine. This system features massive 4.5-inch dual burnt tips and is crafted from premium-grade stainless steel with a mirror polish finish for enhanced corrosion and heat resistance. The use of mandrel-bent piping and precision TIG-welded joints ensures smooth exhaust flow, structural integrity, and a precise fit without requiring welding or modifications. This catback exhaust system replaces components from the catalytic converters back to the tailpipes, aiming to improve exhaust gas velocity and flow volume. The 2.25-inch inner diameter piping is considered the optimal size for naturally aspirated 3.5L V6 engines, balancing mid-range torque with high-end horsepower. Owners can expect a deeper, more aggressive exhaust note compared to the stock system, along with potential gains in horsepower, torque, and throttle response. This product is specifically a cat-back exhaust and does not include exhaust headers or high-flow catalytic converters. To build a complete performance exhaust system, these components would need to be purchased separately.
