The Top Gun Speedworks 2014-2015 3.7 Q50 Rear Mount Comp Air Cooled Turbo System - Gen 2 is engineered to significantly enhance the performance of the 3.7L VHR engine in your Infiniti Q50. This kit offers the flexibility to retain stock catalytic converters, which helps in eliminating exhaust smell and maintaining quieter operation, although the turbo spool will be audible. The Gen 2 design boasts improved clearance for easier installation. At the heart of this system is an air-cooled, triplex ceramic ball bearing Comp 6567 turbocharger featuring a billet wheel. This advanced turbo design eliminates the need for oil feed lines, return lines, scavenge pumps, wiring kits, oil pan spacers or pickups, and coolant lines, simplifying the installation process. The kit includes a Vibrant core intercooler for efficient cooling and a 3-inch single turbo-back exhaust with an open dump option, along with all necessary brackets, mounting hardware, and clamps. With stock exhaust and catalytic converters, this kit achieved a respectable 425awhp and 358awtq at just 7.5psi. When increasing boost pressure, it can easily exceed 500whp. Further modifications, such as removing the catalytic converters and increasing boost, can push the power output over 600whp. The package also includes a complimentary aftermarket bash bar with a tow hook interface, valued at $450. Installation is designed to be manageable within a home garage, with an estimated time of as little as 5 hours. The tuner kit includes everything required for installation except for fuel and tuning components. Optional upgrades are available, including a dual tip exit for the wastegate dump and choices for different wastegate/BOV brands and intercooler piping colors.
