The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-161A-P is a remanufactured complete axle assembly featuring a Dana 80 differential with a 3.73 gear ratio and Posi Traction. This unit is specifically built for dual rear wheel (DRW) configurations on non-cab chassis Ford F-350 models from 2008-2012. Each Zumbrota Drivetrain axle assembly undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process. This includes thorough inspection of the housing for straightness, cracks, and wear, as well as 100% inspection and testing of all internal components like ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced with new parts. The assembly process ensures optimal ring and pinion tooth contact patterns, correct rolling torque using inch-pound measurements for precise setup, and proper gear backlash for lubrication and quiet operation. Internal and external parts are cleaned using Zumbrota's exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-peening deep cleaning process.
