Description

The Zumbrota Drivetrain Reman Axle Assembly is a remanufactured unit designed for Chrysler 8.25 inch differentials. This assembly is built to OEM specifications and includes a 3.73 gear ratio with Posi Traction for enhanced performance. Each axle tube is inspected and straightened to ensure it meets OEM standards, and all housings undergo rigorous testing for surface wear and cracks. Internally, all parts, including Ring & Pinion, gears, and clutches, are inspected 100%. Key components like bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced to guarantee longevity and correct rolling torque is established using precise inch-pound measurements. This unit does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts, and requires a refundable core charge. It is compatible with 2007-2012 Dodge Nitro and Jeep Liberty models equipped with the Chrysler 8.25 inch axle and Option Code DME.
