The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-160B is a remanufactured axle assembly specifically designed for 2008-2010 Ford F250 and F350 Super Duty trucks equipped with the 6.4L engine, single rear wheel (SRW) setup, and a 3.73 gear ratio. This comprehensive assembly ensures that critical drivetrain components are renewed to high standards. The remanufacturing process involves a thorough inspection of all components. Axle tubes are straightened to meet original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications, and the housings are meticulously tested for surface wear and potential cracks. Internally, the assembly undergoes a 100% inspection of parts including the ring and pinion, internal gears, clutch packs, and carrier. To ensure optimal performance and durability, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced with new parts. The housings are then cleaned using an advanced hydro blasting and rinsing process, restoring them to an OEM finish, and the correct rolling torque is precisely established for longevity.
