The Total Seal CR2015 35 Classic Race Piston Ring Set is engineered for demanding race applications. This set includes top rings made from ductile iron with plasma moly coating, offering exceptional strength and wear resistance. The second rings are conventional, and the oil control is managed by a 3-piece standard tension oil ring design. These ring sets are suitable for various racing conditions, including those involving mild nitrous oxide or mild boost. It is important to note that if the application involves street use, the low tension oil rings and Gold Power oil rings (found in other variants) are not recommended. This specific set is designed for an 8-cylinder engine with a bore of 4.155 inches plus an additional 0.005 inches, and ring thicknesses of 5/64" for the top and second rings, and 3/16" for the oil ring.
