The 3point8 Performance Genesis Coupe 3.8 Cold Air Intake Kit is a 2-piece design cold air intake. It features a 3" tubing entry that sits next to the fog light and an exit tapered to 3.5" to match the BK2 3.8 throttle body. The intake is ceramic coated in glossy black for heat protection and includes a K&N filter and mounting brackets.

The 3point8 Performance Genesis Coupe 3.8 Cold Air Intake Kit (bk2-CAI) is engineered to enhance airflow for your vehicle's engine. This true cold air intake features a 2-piece design, allowing for adjustable filter placement within the fender area, which is particularly beneficial for installations involving fog lights or brake ducts. The intake's entry point is strategically located next to the fog light, near the splash guard opening, to maximize the tubing length and allow air to reach velocity. The exit is tapered to 3.5 inches to match the BK2 3.8 throttle body size, reducing ballooning and maintaining air momentum. The entire unit is ceramic coated in a glossy black finish to prevent heat soak and maintain cool intake air temperatures. It comes with a K&N filter and includes brackets to secure it in place. Important considerations for installation include the mandatory deletion of the washer fluid reservoir; this kit does not include a replacement or relocation kit. The product is noted as Not CARB Legal and cannot be shipped to California. Performance gains from dyno testing showed an increase of +13whp/+11wtq over the stock air box. Compared to the Injen SRI, it demonstrated a 5% gain when cold and a 20% gain when heat soaked.
