Description

The MegaSquirt 3/8 NPT Aluminum Weld-On Bung is an aluminum weld-on fitting designed to facilitate the installation of sensors such as Intake Air Temperature (IAT) or Coolant Temperature (CLT) sensors in custom automotive setups. Its 3/8″ NPT thread size ensures compatibility with a wide range of standard sensors. Constructed from durable 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, this bung offers excellent corrosion resistance, making it suitable for various fluid applications including fuel, oil, water, and air. The weld-on design provides a secure and reliable mounting point, essential for accurate sensor readings in performance-oriented or custom vehicle builds. It is particularly useful for custom turbo, intercooler, or cooling system installations. This universal application part comes with one 3/8″ NPT aluminum weld-on bung in the box.
