The Total Seal T8544-5 is a TS1 Gapless® Second Piston Ring Set. These sets feature ductile iron top rings, Gapless® 2nd rings, and 3-piece standard tension oil rings. TS1 sets are designed for use in a wide range of performance applications, including those with mild nitrous or mild boost. Gapless® second rings are designed to improve cylinder sealing, which can lead to increased horsepower, torque, and fuel economy, while reducing blow-by and oil consumption.
