The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA434-1889D is a remanufactured complete axle assembly specifically designed for the Dana 44 axle in 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 trucks. This axle assembly is built to high standards of precision and reliability. It includes a 3.90 gear ratio and is compatible with models featuring 4-wheel ABS. Zumbrota Drivetrain thoroughly inspects each axle assembly for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are inspected and tested. All bearings and seals are replaced, and gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque. The axle tubes are inspected to ensure they meet OEM standards for straightness. Zumbrota utilizes an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure on internal and external parts, followed by a proprietary deep cleaning process.
