The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1921A-P is a remanufactured axle assembly designed for Chrysler 8.25 inch differentials, specifically for 1998-1999 Dodge Van 1500 and 2501 models. This unit comes equipped with a 3.90 gear ratio and a Posi Traction limited-slip differential, providing enhanced traction and performance. Each axle assembly undergoes a rigorous remanufacturing process. The tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, and housings are tested for cracks and surface wear. Zumbrota Drivetrain performs a 100% inspection of all internal parts, including ring and pinion gears, internal gears, clutches, and carriers. To ensure optimal performance and longevity, all bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. The assembly is then meticulously set up with correct rolling torque and gear backlash, verified using inch-pound measurements for precision. This remanufactured axle assembly features a 10-bolt round cover and 5-lug axles. While the cover is included, the unit does not include hubs, brakes, backing plates, or axle shafts, which will need to be sourced separately. The hydro-blasting and sandblasting process used for cleaning the housings brings them back to an OEM finish, ensuring both aesthetic and functional quality. This product is built to order, with shipping times varying.
