The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1919B is a remanufactured axle assembly built to high standards of precision and reliability for your 1998-1999 Dodge Dakota 2WD. This unit features a 9.25" Chrysler differential with a 3.92 gear ratio and a Posi Limited Slip Differential for enhanced traction. Zumbrota Drivetrain meticulously inspects all components, including ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced with new parts. The gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and precise setup with correct rolling torque measurements, ensuring longevity and quiet operation. The remanufacturing process includes a thorough inspection of axle tubes for straightness and housings for surface wear and cracks. Zumbrota utilizes an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning, to restore housings to an OEM finish. This assembly is a semi-floating axle type and comes with the differential cover included, though differential fluid is not supplied. This axle assembly is specifically designed for 1998 and 1999 Dodge Dakota models with 2WD drivetrains.
