The CT's Turbo 3" Air Intake System is engineered to enhance performance for 1.8TSI and 2.0T Gen1 and Gen3 VW/Audi vehicles. This system utilizes a 3-inch CNC mandrel-bent aluminum intake pipe, finished with a durable black powder coating, to ensure a smooth path for cold air into the engine. Complementing the piping is a high-flow, reusable cone air filter with an inverted cone design, optimized for maximum airflow and engine breathing. The complete kit is crafted to work harmoniously, delivering increased horsepower and torque across the entire power band, along with an aggressive, race-inspired sound. The intake pipe includes two 1/8NPT bungs for straightforward installation of CTS BOSS kits. Product details include: - Full 3″ Mandrel-bent aluminum piping with black powder coating - Compatibility with CTS BOSS kits, featuring provisions for easy installation - Reusable air filter with an inverted cone design - 4-ply silicone connectors secured with stainless steel clamps - Airbox equipped with rubberized trim - Bracketry designed to prevent rattling under engine torquing Gains of 9-15 WHP are reported on stock vehicles, with potential for more if tuned. **Important Fitment Notes:** This intake system is compatible with the following: GEN1 Fitment (EA888.1): 2009 MK5 VW GTI (TSI), 2009-2010 MK5 VW Jetta (TSI), 2010-2013 MK6 VW GTI, 2012-2013 MK6 VW Jetta GLI, 2009-2016 VW EOS (TSI), 2009-2013 Passat CC (TSI), 2010-2013 VW Beetle (TSI), 2008-2017 VW Scirocco (TSI), 2009-2013 Audi A3 (TSI). GEN3 Fitment (EA888.3 non-MQB): 2013-2017 VW Beetle (confirm not B-cycle engine), 2013-2017 VW Jetta 1.8TSI (confirm not B-cycle engine), 2013-2019 VW Jetta GLI, 2013-2017 Volkswagen Passat 1.8TSI & 2.0TSI (confirm not B-cycle engine). **Exclusions and Caveats:** This intake is **not for B-cycle engines**; please verify your vehicle before ordering. It **does not fit Tiguan or Q3 or late MK6 models with Gen3 B-cycle** (also known as Miller cycle) engines. Additionally, please confirm if your vehicle requires a breather filter for the secondary injection system by checking for a hose connected to the airbox behind the headlight.
