3" Aluminum Intake Kit

The VRP 3″ Aluminum Intake Kit is a performance upgrade for the Mercedes M113 and M113k AMG engine platforms, specifically for model years 2003-2006. This kit replaces restrictive factory air boxes with 3-inch mandrel-bent aluminum piping, designed to improve airflow all the way to the throttle body. Beyond enhancing smooth air intake, the upgrade is noted for greatly increasing the audible supercharger whine. The kit includes 3-inch mandrel-bent aluminum pipes, inline high-flow filters, couplers, and clamps. It comes standard with an aluminum finish, but is also available with a Cerakote ceramic coating in a variety of colors, with a two-week lead time. An optional "Flow Coat" applies the ceramic coating to the interior of the piping, which the manufacturer claims can reduce temperatures by an additional 10-20 percent. This intake kit is compatible with numerous Mercedes models including the E55 AMG, CLS55 AMG, SL55 AMG, SLK55 AMG, C55 AMG, CLK55 AMG, S55 AMG, CL55 AMG, CL500, SL500, CLS500, E500, S500 (requires sourcing a Y-pipe), and CLK500. Buyers must select the appropriate Y-pipe size based on their throttle body, with options for Factory OEM 74mm, 82/85mm, 90/92mm, and 102/105mm sizes.
