3" Aluminum Intake Kit

The VRP 3" Aluminum Intake Kit is engineered to enhance the performance of the Mercedes M113 and M113k AMG engines. This kit provides a complete replacement for the factory air boxes, utilizing 3-inch mandrel-bent aluminum piping to ensure a smoother and more efficient flow of air directly to the throttle body. This intake upgrade is specifically designed for the Mercedes M113 and M113k AMG platform, with fitments for models manufactured between 2003 and 2006. Compatible vehicles include the Mercedes E55 AMG, CLS55 AMG, SL55 AMG, SLK55 AMG, C55 AMG, CLK55 AMG, S55 AMG, and CL55 AMG. It is also compatible with the CL500, SL500, CLS500, E500, S500 (with the caveat of requiring a separate Y-pipe), and CLK500 models. The kit includes all necessary components for installation, such as the mandrel-bent aluminum pipes, inline high-flow filters, couplers, and clamps. Available in a standard aluminum finish, the kit also offers optional Cerakote coatings in various colors for a personalized look, with a two-week lead time. An advanced "Flow Coat" option is available for interior coating, which Cerakote and installers claim can further reduce intake temperatures by 10-20 percent. This intake upgrade is known to GREATLY increase the sound of the supercharger's whine, providing an audible performance cue.
