Installing this sensor without the proper custom tune or ECU may lead to incorrect running conditions, a rich fuel mixture, and a significant loss of horsepower.

The Mopar 05149056AA is a 3-bar Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor, specifically designed as a direct replacement for the Mopar part number 05149056AA. This sensor features a one-bolt mounting design and is intended for performance applications where increased boost pressure is utilized. This MAP sensor is recommended for Dodge Neon SRT-4 and Chrysler PT Turbo models that are running over 22-23+ psi of boost and have a custom tune or Mopar Stage 3 ECU installed. It is crucial to have the appropriate ECU calibration, as installing this sensor without a corresponding tune can result in the vehicle running incorrectly, experiencing a rich fuel mixture, and losing significant horsepower. This sensor has been tested to perform perfectly up to 40 psi of boost. While originally a Mopar part, supply issues led to its discontinuation. This particular sensor is an aftermarket option that has undergone testing for correct voltage output and connector compatibility. It is suitable as a replacement sensor if you already possess a 3-bar pressure sensor kit or for custom installations on other platforms such as supercharged or turbocharged Challengers, Chargers, or Hemi engines. The sensor is compatible with the following vehicles: 2003-2005 Dodge Neon SRT-4, 2003-2010 Chrysler PT Cruiser Turbo, and 2008-2009 Dodge Caliber SRT-4.
