The Omni Power USA 3 Bar MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor is an essential upgrade for vehicles planning to run higher boost levels or requiring tuning for forced induction. It accurately measures boost pressure, enabling the ECU to adjust fuel delivery, which is crucial for maintaining engine tune and preventing potential damage from elevation changes. Unlike some competitors, this sensor offers true linear scaling. Each sensor is hand-assembled and individually tested in the USA to ensure exceptional quality control. It boasts a rapid response time of .001 seconds, capable of reacting from 10% to 90% of its pressure scale, which is stated to be the fastest on the market. The operating temperature range is extensive, from -40 to 260 degrees Fahrenheit, with automatic temperature compensation to maintain accuracy. Compatibility is broad, as it works with all aftermarket engine management systems. However, tuning is required for this MAP sensor to function correctly and safely. This 3-Bar MAP sensor is specifically designed to fit the 2013-2020 Subaru BRZ, the 2017-2020 Toyota 86, and the 2013-2016 Scion FR-S.
