The Omni Power 3 Bar MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor is an essential upgrade for vehicles planning to run higher boost levels or requiring tuning for forced induction. It accurately measures boost pressure, enabling your ECU to adjust fuel delivery accordingly. Unlike some aftermarket sensors that may lack true linear scaling, this Omni Power sensor helps prevent engine tuning issues that can arise from elevation changes, thereby avoiding potential problems like idle instability, poor drivability, and severe engine damage. It operates within a wide temperature range of -40 to 260 degrees Fahrenheit and boasts an exceptionally fast response time of 0.001 seconds, responding from 10% to 90% of its pressure scale. The sensor also features automatic temperature compensation and is compatible with all aftermarket engine management systems. Its direct plug-and-play design ensures an easy installation and an OEM appearance, as it is dimensionally identical to the stock MAP sensor. This 3-Bar MAP sensor supports boost levels up to 29 psi and is designed for direct plug-and-play installation on the 2013-2020 Subaru BRZ, 2017-2020 Toyota 86, and 2013-2016 Scion FR-S models.
