The Modern Performance 3 Bar MAP Sensor is a specialized pressure sensor developed as a replacement for high-boost tuning applications. Following the discontinuation of Mopar factory sensors, this alternative was vetted through testing of multiple suppliers to ensure structural integrity at elevated boost levels and correct electronic connector compatibility. This sensor is strictly for use on 2003-2005 Neon SRT-4 and 2003-2007 PT Cruiser GT models that are running over 22-23+ psi of boost and feature a custom tune or a Mopar Stage 3 turbo kit. Installing this sensor on an SRT-4 or PT Cruiser without a supporting custom tune or Stage 3 ECU will cause the engine to run rich, perform incorrectly, and result in a significant loss of horsepower. This product is intended as a replacement sensor for customers who already possess existing 3-bar pressure sensor kits. It is also suitable for custom installations on other platforms, such as supercharged or turbocharged Hemi, Charger, or Challenger engines. If you require a complete system including brackets and adapters for a Neon SRT-4 or PT Turbo, please refer to the company's complete kit offerings.
