3-Bar MAP Sensor

The AMP EFI GM 3-Bar MAP Sensor is designed for enthusiasts running boosted engines, offering precise monitoring of intake manifold pressure up to 29 psi. This sensor is an excellent choice for turbocharged or supercharged applications, providing the accuracy and reliability needed for optimal engine performance. It measures absolute pressure from 1 Bar to 3 Bar (14.7 psi to 29 psi boost) and is frequently integrated with MegaSquirt and other aftermarket ECUs. The sensor utilizes a standard 3-pin weatherproof connector. Its specifications include a 5V input voltage and a linear output voltage ranging from 0.1V to 4.9V. The wiring is straightforward: Pin A is the Sensor Ground, Pin B is the Output Signal to the ECU, and Pin C is the 5V Vref. Calibration is linear, with 0V corresponding to 1.1 kPa and 5V to 315.5 kPa. For use with MegaSquirt systems, the calibration can be set within TunerStudio under Tools > Calibrate MAP/Baro, with common sensor types listed as GM 3-Bar / MPXH6300. The calibration settings can then be saved to the ECU by clicking 'Burn'. This product fits most GM vehicles originally equipped with 3-Bar MAP sensors. Options are available for purchasing the sensor only, with a pigtail, or with a connector and pins, ensuring flexibility for your specific installation needs.
