3-Bar MAP Sensor

The AMP EFI GM 3-Bar MAP Sensor is engineered for high-performance, boosted engine applications, enabling precise monitoring of boost pressures up to 29 psi. This sensor is a crucial component for turbocharged or supercharged vehicles seeking accurate air-fuel ratio management, and it is frequently paired with MegaSquirt and other aftermarket ECUs. Constructed with a durable, 3-pin weatherproof connector, the sensor operates on a standard 5V input and provides a linear output voltage (0.1V to 4.9V) corresponding to its pressure readings. Its calibration is linear, with a 0V output representing 1.1 kPa and a 5V output representing 315.5 kPa. This allows for precise data interpretation by your engine control unit. Installation involves connecting Pin A to Sensor Ground, Pin B to the ECU's Output Signal, and Pin C to the ECU's 5V Vref. For tuning, the sensor calibration can be managed within TunerStudio under Tools > Calibrate MAP/Baro, with common MAP sensor types including the GM 3-Bar / MPXH6300. Once configured, the calibration is burned to the MegaSquirt ECU. This sensor fits most GM vehicles that are factory-equipped with a 3-Bar MAP sensor. Options are available for the sensor only, or with a 6" pigtail or a connector and pins for a more complete installation solution.
