The Omni Power 3 Bar MAP sensor is an ignition component designed to upgrade your vehicle's manifold absolute pressure sensing capabilities when running increased boost levels. It directly replaces the stock MAP sensor and utilizes the factory harness for a plug-and-play installation, maintaining an OEM look. This sensor is built with state-of-the-art bipolar op amp circuitry and thin film resistor networks. Engineered for precision, the Omni Power sensor calculates pressure changes on a true linear 0-5 volt scale, compensating for temperature fluctuations. This ensures a consistent 99% accuracy across its operating range of -40 to 260 degrees Fahrenheit. Unlike some competitor sensors that may lack true linear scaling, this Omni Power unit prevents engine retuning issues due to altitude changes, avoiding problems like idle instability, poor drivability, and potential engine damage. Key features include a response time of .001 seconds for rapid pressure changes, a measuring range of 1-43 psi, and the ability to withstand over 130 PSI without leaking.
