The Mopar 3 Bar MAP Sensor (MMX-3BMAP) is an aftermarket solution engineered for supercharged 5.7L, 6.1L, and 6.4L HEMI engines. The sensor specifications include a MAP Sensor Linear of 61.85 kPa, a MAP Sensor Offset of 6.80 kPa, and a MAP Sensor Offset Voltage of 0.1001 V. It is crucial to properly adjust the Barometric Pressure Sensor Min/Max voltages to avoid triggering a MAP sensor fault; setting the Minimum Baro Voltage to 0.50 V is recommended. For optimal performance, users must also raise the Pressure Ratio (PRatio) and Min/Max MAP limits to align with the sensor's reliable operating range, preventing MAP readings from being clipped. However, caution is advised, as excessively high MAP or PRatio limits may encounter hardcoded limitations within the operating system (OS). This sensor is compatible with various HEMI applications and requires proper tuning to scale the pressure voltage. Note that emissions compliance should be checked with local and state laws before purchase.
