3" Cat-back Exhaust System

The COBB Tuning SS 3" Cat-back Exhaust is engineered for Subaru WRX Hatch (2011-2014) and STI Hatch (2008-2014) models, offering a direct bolt-on replacement for enhanced performance and sound. This exhaust system utilizes a distinctive straight-through muffler, deviating from common chambered designs. This approach minimizes tubing bends and significantly reduces back-pressure, while ensuring sound output remains below SAE standards. The construction features 3-inch diameter tubing leading into a 24-inch wide muffler, which internally merges the exhaust gases via a reversed Y-split to guide them into separate muffling chambers. From these chambers, 2.5-inch outlets symmetrically direct the exhaust gases towards the rear, exiting through quad polished exhaust tips that perfectly fill the factory bumper cut-outs. Crafted from premium 304 stainless steel throughout, all components are meticulously TIG welded to ensure exceptional strength and a superior appearance. The system is designed for seamless integration with either the Subaru factory downpipe or the COBB 3" SS Downpipe, guaranteeing a perfect fitment.
