Overview

The CAP Can Auto Performance downpipe is a catless exhaust component designed for the B8/B8.5 Audi A4/A5/Q5 2.0T platform. Constructed from 304 stainless steel with TIG welds and 3" piping, it aims to maximize exhaust flow, power, and sound by replacing the restrictive stock catalytic converter. This modification can lead to an immediate increase in power and torque, as well as reduced turbo lag.

The CAP Can Auto Performance catless downpipe is engineered to be the premier exhaust upgrade for the B8/B8.5 Audi A4, A4 Allroad, A5, and Q5 models equipped with the 2.0T engine, covering model years 2009 through 2016. By replacing the factory catalytic converter, it reduces exhaust restriction, leading to an immediate gain in horsepower, torque, and a noticeable decrease in turbo lag. While this downpipe offers substantial performance benefits, it is intended for Racing Competition use only and is not legal for installation on highway or street vehicles. It is not C.A.R.B. compliant, and the manufacturer makes no representations or warranties regarding compliance with applicable emissions laws. Buyers are responsible for understanding and adhering to any local laws or regulations pertaining to the use of this product. For optimal performance and proper usage of this catless downpipe, a Stage 2 ECU tune is recommended. The product is currently available for pre-order with an estimated ETA of July 24, 2026, and all pre-order sales are final and cannot be canceled.
