3" Catted Downpipe

The Integrated Engineering MK5 & MK6 2.0T 3" Catted Downpipe is engineered to unlock significant horsepower and torque gains when paired with a matching Stage 2 or K04 turbo ECU tune. This performance upgrade allows the turbocharger to flow more freely through a 3" diameter, 1.5mm thick 304 stainless steel pipe. The substantial 16mm thick turbo flange is designed to resist warping and ensure a leak-free seal at the turbo connection. This downpipe features a high-flow 200-cell metal matrix catalytic converter, which helps to reduce emissions and unpleasant odors commonly associated with catless systems, all while maintaining peak horsepower. For ease of installation and a reliable connection to the rest of the exhaust system, it incorporates a V-band clamp at the mid-pipe and an interlock core flex section to absorb engine and chassis movement without stress cracking. Installation replaces the majority of the factory exhaust from the turbocharger back to the rear exhaust. It utilizes factory mount points and includes all necessary hardware. It is not C.A.R.B. compliant and is not for sale or use in California or any other jurisdiction where prohibited by law. This downpipe is specifically designed for the following vehicles: Audi A3 (FWD only) 2006-2013 (8P) with 2.0T FSI & TSI engines; VW GTI 2006-2009 (MK5) and 2010-2014 (MK6) with 2.0T FSI & TSI or TSI engines; VW Jetta/GLI 2006-2010 (MK5) and 2010-2013 (non Gen 3) with 2.0T FSI & TSI engines. Crucially, it does NOT fit EA888 Gen 3 engines found in some late model (2013+) MK6 Jetta & GLI vehicles. Buyers are advised to verify their engine type before purchasing.
