3" Downpipe for VW 1.4T EA211

The Unitronic 3” Downpipe is a direct bolt-on upgrade engineered to eliminate restrictions in the factory downpipe for the VW 1.4T EA211 engine. This component is constructed from durable T304 stainless steel tubing, complemented by T316 stainless steel flanges and a corrugated stainless steel flex section. The entire assembly is TIG welded for maximum integrity and longevity. This downpipe features a high-flow metallic matrix catalyst, strategically positioned in the factory location to maintain optimal efficiency. It ensures proper oxygen sensor placement and integrates a unique v-band fastening system secured with Clampco® clamps. The design ensures direct bolt-on fitment and is compatible with the factory exhaust system, simplifying installation. When combined with Unitronic Stage 2 Performance Software, this downpipe is advertised to provide gains of +41 HP and +70 LB-FT of torque over stock. The combined system with Stage 2 software can produce up to 196 HP and 257 LB-FT. The kit includes the 3” Stainless Steel Catalytic Converter Section, a 3” Stainless Steel Mid pipe, a 3” to 55mm Reducer, two 3” V-Band Sealing Rings, and two Unitronic 3” V-Band Exhaust Clamps. Installation difficulty is rated at 3 out of 5. This part is designed for the VW Mk6.5 (2015-2018) models equipped with the 1.4T engine. It is noted that this part is intended for Off Road Use Only.
