The IHC Suspension 3/5" Lowering Kit is engineered for the 2009-2018 RAM 1500 4WD, offering a comprehensive solution for lowering your truck while prioritizing ride quality. This kit achieves a 3-inch front drop by utilizing custom control arms, retaining the stock springs, shocks, and spindles to preserve the OEM ride characteristics. The included adjustable upper control arms ensure proper camber correction, eliminating the need for frame notching or additional alignment parts. The rear of the truck is lowered using progressive springs, which are designed to be trimmed to achieve various drop heights from 5" up to 7" without compromising ride quality. The kit also features a drop-down trac bar bracket and shorter sway bar links to correct suspension angles. Crucially, it includes 4-link relocation brackets that re-center the rear end, correct pinion angle, and eliminate high-speed wobble and swaying, contributing to a stable and secure driving experience. This kit is manufactured in Texas, USA, and comes with a lifetime warranty on all metal parts. IHC Suspension emphasizes that their control arms utilize polyurethane bushings for enhanced performance, durability, and minimal maintenance. The "Cut Kit" variant is specifically recommended for rear drops of 4", 5", 6", and 7" to allow for increased suspension travel and prevent bottoming out, which involves cutting the OEM upper trailing arm bracket.
