The CTS Turbo 3" Stainless Steel High-Flow Catted Downpipe is engineered to enhance the performance and sound of BMW S55-powered vehicles, specifically the F80 M3, F82/F83 M4, and F87 M2 Competition models from 2015 onwards (North America). This downpipe is constructed from durable 304 food-grade stainless steel, featuring a 3-inch diameter to facilitate quicker exhaust gas expulsion. Key design elements include laser-cut flanges and factory-like placement of O2 sensors, ensuring straightforward installation and compatibility with existing systems. The downpipe is designed using advanced 3D scanning and CAD simulation technologies to optimize exhaust flow, promising faster turbo spool, improved transient boost response, and potentially higher boost levels. Installation of this downpipe is recommended for vehicles equipped with the S55 3.0L engine.
