This downpipe is part of the CTS Turbo exhaust system and is compatible with their high-flow cat or race pipe.

This product is intended for competition use and may not be legal for sale or use in California or on pollution-controlled vehicles.

The CTS Turbo 3" High Flow Downpipe is engineered for Gen 3 TSI EA888.3 motors, constructed from T304 seamless stainless steel tubing and flanges with 100% TIG welding. This downpipe features a CNC machined turbine discharge flange and mandrel-bent 3" tubing, designed to optimize exhaust gas flow and enhance performance. An optional Magnaflow catalytic converter is available to help satisfy emissions requirements. Installation of this high-flow downpipe will typically cause the check engine light to illuminate with a P0420 fault code, which is remedied with a Stage 2 software tune. A Stage 2 tune is recommended for optimal performance with this downpipe upgrade. This downpipe is not for sale or use in the state of California on any pollution-controlled vehicle as per the California Air Resources Board. It is specifically designed to fit the Volkswagen Beetle 1.8T Gen3, Volkswagen Beetle 2.0T Gen3, and Volkswagen Jetta VI 1.8T Gen3 models.
