Overview

It features a 3-inch thick bar and plate intercooler core with a staggered fin combination engineered for maximum cooling efficiency and minimal pressure drop. The intercooler is rated for 600-850 horsepower and includes hand-formed H-3 5052 aluminum end tanks that are TIG welded.

It comes standard with 3-inch inlet and outlet bead-rolled tube ends, with Vibrant Performance Vanjen clamps available upon request. The unit includes M8x1.25mm aluminum mounting bungs for easy installation.

The SpeedFactory Racing Standard Dual Backdoor Front Mount Intercooler (SF-06-083) is engineered to deliver significantly cooler, denser air to your engine, enhancing performance in street and racing applications. This intercooler boasts a robust 3-inch thick SpeedFactory Air-to-Air Intercooler Core constructed with a bar and plate design. The custom end tanks are expertly hand-formed in-house from H-3 5052 aluminum and are fully TIG welded, demonstrating unparalleled craftsmanship. Rated to support 600 to 850 horsepower, this smooth-flowing intercooler features a core size of 24"x12"x3" and an overall dimension of 32.5" width x 12" tall x 3" thick. This intercooler comes standard with 3-inch inlet and 3-inch outlet bead-rolled tube ends. For those seeking faster and more secure charge pipe connections, Vibrant Performance Vanjen clamps can be specified. The unit is equipped with M8x1.25mm aluminum mounting bungs, facilitating a straightforward installation process. It is noted that this intercooler is universal and will fit most Honda/Acura chassis with modification.
