The Agency Power Carbon Fiber Intercooler Pipe is a 3-inch diameter performance upgrade specifically designed for the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X models from 2008 onwards. Constructed using a one-piece tubular design with a braided carbon fiber sleeve, this intercooler pipe provides exceptional strength and a visually appealing addition to your engine bay. Beyond its aesthetics, the carbon fiber material helps reduce heat transfer, contributing to more efficient engine operation. This kit is designed as a direct replacement for OEM piping and is compatible with OEM replacement larger intercoolers. Installation involves a minor modification: the plastic radiator shroud will need to be trimmed on the underside to ensure adequate clearance for the larger diameter piping. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper fitment and function. By upgrading to this 3-inch diameter pipe, you can expect improved airflow, more efficient maintenance of boost pressure, enhanced throttle response, and potential horsepower gains, particularly on higher horsepower applications.
