The Milltek Sport SSXHO291 is a high-performance cast downpipe engineered for the Honda Civic Type R FL5 and Integra Type S DE5 models. This component features an HJS high-flow sports catalyst with a twin-cat, no-CEL (Check Engine Light) design, ensuring optimal emissions control without triggering a fault. The pipework is constructed from aerospace-grade type 304, non-magnetic stainless steel, renowned for its durability, resistance to discolouration, and longevity. With a 3-inch (76.2mm) bore diameter, this downpipe is significantly larger than the stock OEM part, allowing for increased exhaust gas flow and improved engine efficiency. Milltek's mandrel bending process ensures consistent radius bends, which are critical for maintaining optimal gasflow and preventing turbulence.
