3-Inch Cast Stainless Steel Downpipe

The VRSF 3″ Cast Stainless Steel Downpipe Upgrade (V2) is engineered to enhance the performance of N54-powered BMW 135i and 335i models from 2007-2010 and 2008-2012, respectively. This downpipe replaces the restrictive factory catalytic converters, thereby significantly reducing back pressure. This reduction in back pressure results in faster turbo spool, a noticeable increase in horsepower and torque, and a more aggressive exhaust note. Constructed from hand-crafted, mandrel-bent 304-grade stainless steel, this downpipe features a full 3″ diameter that transitions to a 2.5″ flange, promoting increased flow compared to competitors' designs that neck down closer to the turbos. The CAD/CAM-designed cast bell mouth ensures a seamless transition from the turbo flange to the pipe. Smooth radius bends are incorporated to further minimize turbulence and maximize exhaust flow efficiency. The product is available with a Brushed or Cerakote High Temp coating finish, with the latter capable of withstanding temperatures up to 1800°F. It is compatible with the following BMW applications: 2007-2010 E90/E91/E92/E93 335i (N54), 2011-2013 E92 335is (N54), 2008-2010 E82/E88 135i (N54), and 2011-2012 E82/E88 1M (N54). A crucial note is that the catted version of this downpipe is limited to LHD fitments only. VRSF provides a Lifetime Warranty against defects and fitment for the downpipes themselves. However, the ceramic coating option carries a separate 1-year warranty due to the nature of the coating process.
