Description

The K-Tuned FK8 Type R Exhaust is a premium cat-back exhaust system engineered for the 2017-2022 Honda Civic Type R FK8. It features a 3-inch connection specifically designed to integrate with aftermarket 3-inch downpipes, and also offers an option for a stock flange to accommodate OEM downpipes. The pipe transitions from 3 inches to 2.5 inches after the split, which creates pressure to effectively push exhaust through the side mufflers, resulting in controlled noise levels. This design aims to provide a more aggressive exhaust note without being overly obtrusive. Included with the system are new rubber hangers to ensure proper muffler support. The manufacturer notes that some aftermarket downpipes may feature a 2.5-inch stock flange size, so checking compatibility before ordering is advised. Additionally, K-Tuned has stated they are not shipping exhausts or headers at this time, and orders are subject to a 5% processing fee for cancellations and refunds.
