3-Inch Catted Downpipe

The Integrated Engineering IEEXCI1 is a 3-inch catted downpipe engineered for MQB platform Audi and VW AWD vehicles. This downpipe features a high-flow 200-cell per inch catalytic converter with a metal matrix structure, designed to provide maximum flow while reducing emissions and unpleasant smells. Replacing over six feet of the restrictive factory exhaust tubing, the IEEXCI1 downpipe aims to improve exhaust flow, reduce turbo lag, and unlock performance gains, particularly when paired with Stage 2 ECU tuning and other supporting modifications like an air intake and intercooler. The design incorporates an OEM-style flex section for added adjustment and durability, a thick turbo flange to prevent leaks and warping, and cast bend sections for optimal flow and fitment. Digital scanning ensures precise fitment and clearance for all mounting points. This downpipe system includes a mid-pipe specifically designed for Gen 3 2.0T engines in all-wheel drive (AWD), Quattro, or 4 Motion vehicles. Front-wheel drive (FWD) vehicles require a different mid-pipe section found in a separate kit (IE Part Number: IEEXCI3). Installation is recommended to be completed by a professional, preferably on an auto lift. The product is proudly engineered, designed, and manufactured in-house by Integrated Engineering.
