3-Inch Catted Downpipe

The Integrated Engineering IEEXCI1 is a 3-inch catted performance downpipe engineered for MQB AWD Audi and VW vehicles. This downpipe replaces over six feet of restrictive factory exhaust tubing, utilizing 76mm (3-inch) tubing compared to the stock 60mm piping to significantly improve exhaust flow. This enhanced flow is designed to reduce turbo lag and contribute to performance gains, especially when paired with Stage 2 ECU tuning, an IE air intake, and an IE FDS intercooler. It includes a high-flow 200-cell catalytic converter with a metal matrix structure, designed for maximum flow while reducing emissions and unpleasant smells. The integrated OEM-style flex section provides greater adjustment and durability, addressing a common failure point in aftermarket downpipes. Installation is designed as a direct bolt-on, with IE engineers utilizing digital scanning to ensure precise fitment and clearance for all mounting points. However, professional installation on an auto lift is recommended. This downpipe system is specifically designed for Gen 3 1.8T and 2.0T engines in all-wheel drive (AWD), Quattro, or 4 Motion Audi and VW models. Front-wheel drive (FWD) vehicles require a different mid-pipe section (IE Part Number: IEEXCI3). It is not for sale or use in California or any other jurisdiction where prohibited by law. Stage 2 ECU tuning is a requirement for optimal performance.
