3-Inch Catted Downpipe

The Integrated Engineering IEEXCI3 is a performance downpipe engineered to reduce back pressure and unlock Stage 2 power for compatible VW and Audi MQB FWD vehicles. This 3-inch (76mm) diameter pipe replaces the restrictive factory tubing, contributing to increased performance, reduced turbo lag, and an enhanced exhaust sound. Constructed from durable 304 stainless steel with TIG-welded seams, this downpipe is built for longevity. The downpipe also incorporates a high-flow 200-cell metal matrix catalytic converter positioned close to the turbo to minimize emissions and unwanted smells, while still allowing for significant exhaust flow. Installation of this downpipe requires Stage 2 ECU tuning. For optimal performance gains, it is also recommended to pair it with an IE air intake and IE FDS intercooler. Professional installation on an auto lift is advised, and an installation guide is available. **Important Fitment Note:** This downpipe system is specifically designed for Gen 3 1.8T and 2.0T engines in **front-wheel drive (FWD)** vehicles only. All-wheel drive (AWD) Quattro or 4Motion vehicles require a different mid-pipe section (IE Part Number: IEEXCI1). Compatibility includes Audi A3 (2014+ 8V, 2.0T & 1.8T FWD only, may require a 60mm adapter), VW GTI (2015+ MK7/MK7.5, 2.0T), VW GLI (2019+ MK7, 2.0T), and VW Golf (2015+ MK7/MK7.5, 2.0T & 1.8T, requires a 60mm adapter).
