3-Inch Cold Air Intake

The ZZPerformance ZZP-LSJ-CAI-3IN is a full-length 3-inch cold air intake system engineered to enhance airflow and performance for your Chevrolet Cobalt SS. This intake features a true 3-inch diameter, powder-coated aluminum tube, differentiating it from shorter or smaller diameter options. Included with this cold air intake are the ZZP 3-inch aluminum intake tube, a ZZP air filter (AF #2), a silicone coupler for the stock throttle body, and all necessary clamps and hardware for installation. ZZP recommends tweaking the PCM file when changing the MAF sensor's tube size and shape to compensate for the altered airflow. This intake is specifically designed to fit the 2005-2007 Chevrolet Cobalt SS 2.0L. For supercharged base models (2.2L/2.4L), the windshield washer reservoir will need to be relocated; switching to an LSJ reservoir is suggested for the simplest option. If you plan to use an LS4 throttle body, the LS4 45 Degree Coupler must be purchased separately. To protect the air filter from debris when placed in the fenderwell, ZZP highly recommends adding their ZZP air filter wrap. Power gains are typically between 8-12 wheel horsepower. ZZPerformance also notes that this 3-inch intake does not fit the Saturn Ion Redline. Installation instructions are available digitally.
