The GrimmSpeed Aftermarket 3-Inch Downpipe to OEM Catback Adapter provides a robust solution to common exhaust leaks caused by mating a larger 3-inch aftermarket downpipe to a standard 2.5-inch OEM or OEM-like catback exhaust system. Constructed from "indestructible steel" that is CNC laser-cut, this adapter is built for longevity. It features a unique flared end, designed to be just shy of 3 inches, which prevents obstruction of exhaust flow, unlike competing adapters. The design is compatible with both flat and donut style gaskets, with a specific flange for the OEM donut gasket. Installation is straightforward due to its "simple bolt-on" nature, and it includes necessary hardware. However, the GrimmSpeed 3-inch gasket and the OEM Subaru donut gasket are sold separately. This adapter is exclusively designed for connecting an aftermarket 3-inch downpipe to an OEM-style catback and is not designed for use in the reverse configuration.
