Description

The CTS Turbo downpipes are engineered to enhance the performance of the Mercedes-Benz W205 C63 and C63S models equipped with the M177 engine. These 3-inch downpipes replace restrictive factory catalytic converters and are designed for a bolt-on installation, requiring no welding and reusing OEM mounting points. Constructed from CAST T304 stainless steel and hand TIG welded with back-purging, these downpipes are built for durability and reliable performance. They feature 200-cell high-flow catalytic converters and OE-style heat shielding to manage under-hood temperatures, allowing for extended hard driving. The design aims to improve turbo spool, throttle response, and exhaust note, providing a louder and deeper tone. Installation of these downpipes requires specific tuning, identified as Stage 2, to prevent a check engine light (CEL). The product is sold for competition use and is not legal for highway or street vehicles.
