The BDS Suspension 3 Inch Lift Kit is engineered to enhance the style, handling, performance, and capability of your 1993-1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ, offering clearance for up to 31-inch tires. The system features custom-tuned Pro-Ride coil springs for a smooth and predictable ride across various terrains, manufactured from high-tensile steel for maximum reliability. This kit incorporates front and rear track bar brackets to correctly center the axle and extended sway bar links for improved off-road flex. The front lift is achieved via coil springs, while the rear also utilizes matching coil springs to provide a balanced lift without compromising ride quality. The kit comes with a choice of specially tuned NX2 nitro series gas shocks or FOX 2.0 performance series gas shocks for enhanced damping. The included NX2 Nitro Series shocks are nitrogen-charged and feature a twin-tube design with 10-stage velocity-sensitive valving, a 1-3/8-inch high-flow piston, dual-welded ends for durability, self-lubricating seals, and a silver powder coat finish. Note that vehicles equipped with a V8 engine may not achieve the stated lift height. Additionally, modifications to the front driveshaft may be necessary depending on its length (over 24-1/2 inches requires no modifications; 20-24 inches may require a Spicer type joint; less than 20 inches requires a Spicer type joint and vibration may persist).
