3 Inch Lift Kit

The Rough Country 3 Inch Lift Kit is specifically engineered for the 2009-2013 Ford F-150 4WD, offering a blend of aggressive aesthetics, increased ground clearance, and enhanced off-road capability. This kit aims to provide a leveled stance, eliminating factory rake and allowing for the fitment of up to 34-inch tires without compromising drivability. These arms are equipped with heavy-duty rubber bushings to ensure long-lasting reliability and maintain optimal ball joint angles, thereby reducing stress and extending suspension lifespan. Buyers can also opt for a red powder-coated finish for added corrosion resistance and a distinct look. The kit offers customization for ride quality, with options to select either nitrogen-charged N3 shocks for a balanced ride or premium M1 monotube shocks for enhanced performance and adjustability. Installation is designed to be a straightforward, 100% bolt-on process requiring only common tools, with no cutting or drilling necessary. This design also allows for easy reversal to stock configuration if desired. However, this lift kit is not universally compatible. It does NOT fit regular or standard cab models due to potential drivetrain vibrations caused by pinion angle issues. It is also incompatible with Raptor models due to their specialized long-travel suspension and Fox Racing Shox. Furthermore, it does NOT fit models equipped with the Heavy Duty Payload Package (seven-lug models) or trucks with a stock ride height exceeding 22 inches (measured from the wheel center to the fender bottom). Models with FX4, Snow Prep, or other off-road packages that alter front strut assemblies may also exceed this height and will not work with the kit. For models retaining factory wheels, tire width is advised to not exceed 11.5 inches; a 0.25-inch wheel spacer is recommended for additional clearance on models with aggressive tire sidewalls.
