3-Inch Lift Kit with Pro-Ride Coil Springs

The BDS Suspension BDS430FS is a 3-inch lift kit engineered to enhance the style, performance, and capability of your 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ. This comprehensive kit is designed to improve your vehicle's stance and handling, allowing for the fitment of up to 31-inch tires. Up front, the kit features full-length Jeep-specific Pro-Ride coil springs, manufactured from high-tensile steel, to provide a smooth and predictable ride across various terrains. These OE replacement springs are engineered with properly sized wire diameters to ensure maximum reliability without premature coil bind. Extended sway bar links and a transfer case drop are included to maintain correct driveline angles. In the rear, the lift is achieved through a long, thin add-a-leaf and a 5/8-inch lift block, designed to add height without compromising ride quality. This kit offers a choice of upgraded shock absorbers to further improve damper performance, with options including specially tuned NX2 nitro series gas shocks or FOX 2.0 IFP performance series gas shocks. The add-a-leaf components feature tapered and roll-pointed leafs for flexibility and an even deflection rate, allowing for increased wheel travel and a softer ride. Bolt-style leaf alignment clamps prevent leafs from fanning out, promoting higher articulation. Anti-friction pads are integrated for a smooth and quiet operation. Installation is rated as moderate, with an estimated time of 6 hours. This kit is specifically designed for use with the Chrysler 8.25 rear axle. Please note that some 1987-1990 models may have come with a Dana 44 axle; verification of the rear axle is recommended before ordering. A transfer case lowering kit is not required for 2WD models.
