The BDS Suspension rear coil springs are engineered to allow for custom tuning of both spring rate and ride height for your 3-inch lifted Jeep Wrangler JL 4-door. These springs play a crucial role in your vehicle's suspension system by supporting the body and chassis, while allowing the wheels and tires to adapt to road surface changes. Manufactured from high tensile steel, these direct OE replacement coil springs utilize a properly sized wire diameter for maximum reliability without premature coil bind. A polyester-based powder coat is applied for enhanced flexibility and durability, while a preset hydraulic stress treatment reduces fatigue and prevents sagging. Furthermore, the springs are shot peened to increase tensile strength, enabling maximum wheel travel without sacrificing spring life. They are available in either cold-wound chrome silicon 9254 or hot-wound 5160 steel to ensure long-term performance. Installation is estimated to take 1-2 hours.
